Your photos and finished design files are primarily handled on your device. Signed-in accounts may sync project details and the text you enter to Supabase. Translation features can send text to external providers. You can request account deletion in-app or by email.
Who we are and what this covers
Forma Studio (“Forma Studio”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a mobile design application that lets people browse templates, personalize layouts with text and photos, save creations, and export or share finished designs. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Forma Studio app and the related account, template, and support services.
The administrator portal is restricted to authorized staff and is used to maintain app users, categories, template versions, and activity records. Staff-related processing is also described where relevant.

Information we handle
Account and profile information
When you sign up or sign in, we process your email address, optional display name, account identifier, login/session information, and verification or password-reset activity. Supabase Auth processes your password and authentication credentials to provide login; we do not intentionally store your password in Forma Studio's custom project tables.
Design information and projects
When you generate or save a design, information can include its template ID and version, design title, the values you enter into editable fields, a project identifier, a creation timestamp, and a reference to an exported file path. Signed-in cloud saves can store this design metadata in our Supabase database. Text you enter may include names, phone numbers, dates, event information, or other details you choose to provide.
Photos and rendered files
When you choose a photo, the app reads the selected image to place it into your design. In the reviewed mobile workflow, selected photo bytes and rendered image files are saved to app-managed local storage on your device; the current cloud-design record stores project values and metadata rather than automatically uploading those photo files. If you export to your Gallery or share through another app, those copies are handled by your device or the chosen destination.
Preferences and local activity
The app may store your chosen language, bookmarked templates, project history, cached public template information, and cached translations using device storage. These settings help the app remember your work and personalize its interface.
Support, security, and administration
If you contact us, we receive the message and contact details you provide. Our hosting and authentication providers may process technical records such as IP addresses, request times, device or browser details, and error or security logs to operate and protect the service. Authorized administrators may have an assigned role and management audit records that identify account or template actions.
How and why we use information
- Provide the app: show available templates, render personalized designs, save your selected projects, and maintain local preferences.
- Manage your account: register users, authenticate sessions, handle verification or password resets, and respond to account requests.
- Sync account-linked data: store and retrieve eligible design metadata for signed-in users, subject to available app functionality.
- Translate text: translate template descriptions or text you ask to translate into supported languages.
- Protect the service: detect misuse, investigate errors, secure accounts, and maintain appropriate administration records.
- Provide support and meet legal obligations: answer enquiries, process deletion requests, and comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use selected photos as a general-purpose advertising audience source.
Where your information is stored
On your device: selected photos used in designs, generated image files, locally saved projects, bookmarks, language preference, and translation/cache entries may remain in app-managed storage. Gallery exports are stored outside the app and are controlled through your device.
In our cloud service: Supabase services support accounts, authentication, template catalog data, certain project metadata, and administrative operations. Account-linked project values can be personal information even when the generated image itself remains on your device.
Cloud sync of metadata does not necessarily mean every selected photo or downloaded design file can be restored on another device. You should keep separate copies of designs you need.
Service providers and third parties
We use providers only as needed to operate features, under their relevant service terms and privacy arrangements:
- Supabase: authentication, PostgreSQL database, storage of shared template assets, and server-side functions. See Supabase's privacy policy.
- Translation services: text submitted for translation may be sent to our Supabase-hosted translation function and, where available, Google translation services or the MyMemory translation service. The reviewed client code also describes a Gemini-backed translation function; its actual server configuration may vary. Avoid translating confidential text unless you are comfortable with the provider processing it.
- Apps you choose for sharing: when you select WhatsApp, Instagram, a system share destination, or another app, the image or caption you share is provided to that destination and is governed by its own policies.
We may disclose information when required by law, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or as part of a legitimate business transfer subject to applicable protections. We do not make your private account designs publicly searchable as a feature of the reviewed app.
Photos, file access, and sharing
Forma Studio asks you to select images only when you use photo-related editing features. On applicable Android versions, saving an output may involve storage or media access supported by the operating system. You can deny permissions or stop using a feature; some editing or export functions may then be unavailable.
You control when to save an exported image to your device or share it using another installed app. Deleting a Forma Studio account does not automatically erase files already exported to a Gallery, Downloads folder, another device, or a third-party app.
How long we keep information
We generally retain account details and account-linked project metadata while your account remains active and they are needed to provide the service. Locally stored content generally remains until you delete it, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or use the app's supported deletion features.
When an account deletion request is successfully completed, the service is intended to remove the account and associated active cloud records covered by the deletion procedure. Limited records may remain in backups, audit or security logs, or records we must retain under applicable law. These are not retained for ordinary app use and are handled under the relevant operational or legal retention requirements. Backup and infrastructure retention schedules depend on the deployed services and may differ from active database deletion.

Your privacy choices and requests
Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or raise a privacy grievance. Contact us using the email below. We may ask you to verify account ownership before releasing or deleting account-linked information.
- Manage your display name and account details using features available in the app.
- Remove a project or clear locally stored designs where the app or your device allows.
- Stop future optional translation requests by not using translation features, or by using content that does not contain private details.
- Request account and data deletion in the app or using our public Account Deletion page.
Account deletion and data erasure
If you are signed in, open Forma Studio → Account / Profile → Delete Account & Data, review the warning, and confirm. The app initiates the server deletion operation; when the server reports success, it signs you out and clears the locally managed project data on that device.
If you no longer have the app, email support@rishvi.co.uk with the subject “Forma Studio Account Deletion Request” and the email used for your account. We will verify ownership before handling your request. Do not send your password or one-time codes.

Security and international processing
We use HTTPS connections and security controls provided by our cloud infrastructure, including authentication and database access controls. Access to administrative functions is restricted by assigned roles. We take reasonable steps to limit unauthorized access, but no service or storage method is completely secure.
Supabase and translation providers may process information in countries outside your place of residence, depending on service configuration and selected hosting region. Where required, we handle such processing according to applicable data-protection rules.
Children and sensitive information
Forma Studio is a general design tool and is not specifically directed at children. If you are below the age at which you may consent to data processing or enter agreements under applicable law, use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where required. Parents or guardians can contact us about an account they believe was created without required permission.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal data into editable template fields or translation requests unless it is necessary for a design and you have the right to use it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, providers, practices, or legal obligations change. We will display the new effective date on this page and provide additional notice where legally required. The policy in force when you use the service governs the data practices described for that period.
