Use Forma Studio to make and share your own designs, while respecting the rights attached to our templates and third-party assets. Your original text and photos remain yours. Back up important exports and review content before sharing.
Agreement and service scope
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Forma Studio mobile application and related website, design, account, template catalog, and support features (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Forma Studio helps you browse pre-designed templates, add your own text and photos, customize graphics, and save, export, or share finished designs. Some features, including saving and exporting designs, may require a signed-in account.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter into a legally binding agreement in your jurisdiction, or have the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where permitted and required by law. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Do not create accounts for other people without permission or use an account that you are not authorized to access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, except where the law provides otherwise.
Permission to use Forma Studio
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable permission to install and use the Service and its included templates and editing tools for their intended purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership of the app, its software, logos, templates, fonts, graphics, or other materials owned by Forma Studio or its licensors.
You may use designs you lawfully create for personal, educational, social, or business communications, subject to rights in the underlying template assets, licensed materials, and any third-party elements. You may not resell or redistribute the underlying template library as a stand-alone product or claim ownership of the app's original templates.
Your designs and intellectual property
Your original content stays yours. You retain rights you already hold in the photos, text, branding, and other original material you enter into your designs. You grant us a limited permission to process, render, store, transmit, and display that material only as reasonably needed to provide the Service, perform cloud sync when enabled, handle support requests you initiate, and maintain security.
Template ownership is separate. The included layouts, template artwork, app branding, and other licensed elements may be protected by intellectual-property rights belonging to Forma Studio or third parties. Exporting a design does not transfer those underlying rights to you.
You are responsible for confirming that you have permission to use any photos, logos, personal details, fonts, names, or other material you add, including any required permissions from people shown or identified in a design.
Acceptable use
Please use the Service responsibly. You must not:
- Use templates or outputs to infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Create, store, or distribute illegal, fraudulent, threatening, exploitative, or abusive content.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, bypass account or role restrictions, or interfere with the app or hosting infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer or scrape protected template data or distribute the app's source code or template catalog where prohibited by law.
- Misrepresent affiliation with Forma Studio or impersonate another person or organization.
- Use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
We may take proportionate action against misuse, including restricting access, where permitted by law.
Saved projects, cloud sync, and exports
The Service can save design files and selected photos locally on your device and may sync eligible project metadata to Supabase for signed-in users. Cloud sync does not guarantee that every device-local photo, complete image, or export will be available on another device. Please keep your own backups of important finished designs.
When you save or share a design through your device's Gallery, WhatsApp, Instagram, or other apps, the resulting copy is outside our direct control. Your use of third-party apps is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
We may update, improve, withdraw, or replace templates and features. Published template versions may be preserved for compatibility where supported, but continuous access to any specific asset or feature is not guaranteed.
Translation and external services
Language assistance may use Supabase-hosted functions and external translation services, including Google and MyMemory. Do not enter confidential or sensitive text into a translation feature unless you are comfortable with its processing. Translations are automated and may be inaccurate; verify details such as names, dates, phone numbers, or legal claims before publishing an output.
External services, cloud hosts, app stores, and sharing platforms have their own terms. We are not responsible for their independent policies or availability to the extent allowed by applicable law.
Access and potential charges
Features available without a displayed charge may be used without paying Forma Studio for those features. We will communicate any paid plans or purchases and their applicable terms before asking you to complete a transaction. Your network provider or third-party services may apply their own fees.
Privacy and personal information
Our Privacy Policy explains the categories of information handled by the Service, use of Supabase and translation providers, local and cloud storage, your options, and the account deletion process. Please review it before submitting personal details in designs or translation requests.
Service security and changes
We may modify the Service, issue security updates, or temporarily limit access for maintenance or legitimate operational reasons. We aim to maintain a reliable service but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or third-party platform.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect other users, investigate serious misuse, respond to a legal requirement, or enforce these Terms, subject to applicable law.
Ending your account
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have an account, you can request deletion in the app under Account / Profile → Delete Account & Data, or use our public account deletion instructions if you cannot access the app.
Account deletion can permanently remove account-linked records from active systems. Files you separately exported to your device or shared to third parties may remain there until you delete them through those services. Some restricted security, backup, or legal records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and responsibility
Forma Studio is a creative editing tool. You are responsible for reviewing designs before publishing or sharing them, including their text accuracy, image quality, rights clearances, and suitability for your intended audience.
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees of a particular result, uninterrupted operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limits on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Forma Studio is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, including lost profits, loss of opportunity, or interruption caused by third-party platforms. This does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any obligation that the law does not allow us to exclude or restrict.
Applicable law and resolving concerns
These Terms are intended to operate under the applicable laws of India, without limiting mandatory rights you may have under consumer or data-protection laws in your jurisdiction. Before starting a formal dispute, you may contact us at support@rishvi.co.uk so we can try to resolve the issue.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court or authority with lawful jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, business arrangements, or applicable requirements change. The current version and its effective date will be posted here. Where the law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it. Continuing to use the Service after an applicable update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
